The letter said that Huawei had very little information on the allegations and did not know that Ms. Meng Xizhou had any misconduct. The company believes that the Canadian and American judicial systems will eventually give a fair conclusion. If there are further circumstances, we will inform you in time.

According to the open letter, in the past 30 years, Huawei has adhered to the principle of value procurement and sunshine procurement, and has established a healthy ICT industry chain through extensive cooperation with more than 13,000 companies worldwide through mutual benefit, mutual trust and mutual assistance.

Huawei believes that the US government's pressure on a commercial company through various means is a departure from the spirit of free economy and fair competition. However, we will not change our partnership with global supply chain partners because of the unreasonableness of the US government.

A letter from Huawei to global supplier partners (full text)

Dear supplier partner:

I believe you have noticed that the United States has a lot of accusations against Huawei in the recent period. Huawei has repeatedly clarified that the company conducts its business globally and strictly abides by the applicable laws and regulations.

Recently, Ms. Meng Zhouzhou, the company's CFO, was temporarily detained by the Canadian authorities on the grounds that the US government requested the extradition of Ms. Meng Xizhou in the Eastern District of New York for unspecified allegations.

Huawei has received very little information on the allegations and is not aware of any misconduct by Ms. Meng Xizhou. The company believes that the Canadian and American judicial systems will eventually give a fair conclusion. If there are further circumstances, we will inform you in time.

We believe that the US government's pressure on a commercial company through various means is a departure from the spirit of free economy and fair competition. However, we will not change our partnership with global supply chain partners because of the unreasonableness of the US government.

Over the past 30 years, Huawei has adhered to the principles of value procurement and sunshine procurement, and has built a healthy ICT industry chain through extensive cooperation with more than 13,000 companies worldwide through mutual benefit, mutual trust and mutual assistance.

Under the wave of global technological cooperation and industrial development, the development and growth of the upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain are mutually dependent, honour and dissatisfaction, and Huawei's development and growth are closely related to the development and prosperity of supplier partners. Together with our suppliers, we will increase mutual trust and jointly promote the sustainable and healthy development of the global ICT industry.

I look forward to your continued support!
